How many of your teeth are in this pile? If we counted up all the lost teeth in PA because we couldn’t get the care we needed it would be in the millions. This is a direct result of the cut to the adult dental benefit in Medicaid that has been in place since 2011.
Put People First! PA has been pressuring our legislators for more than five years to restore the adult dental benefit in Medicaid. A bill to do this just passed out of the House Health Committee and the Department of Human Services has committed to funding the dental benefit next year.
