We know that we can’t get what we need without power, and that our power comes from organization. That’s why we’re focused on building up permanently organized communities, with strong leadership from the grassroots and a deep commitment to political independence.
We call our local organizing groups Health Care Rights Committees (HRCs for short). Right now we have HRCs active or just starting in:
- Pittsburgh
- Johnstown
- Altoona
- York
- Lancaster
- Philadelphia
- Montgomery County
- Northeast PA
If you’re interested in joining one of these local committees, or you have a special skill you can bring to one of our statewide teams, visit or our “Contact Us” page or email us at getinvolved@putpeoplefirstpa.org to get connected.
