I lost my Medicaid and I am fighting to get it back. I went to get my insulin from the pharmacy, and they wanted $140 for it. It used to cost way less. I was able to get a little insulin to get by. If I don’t take these meds, I will go to the hospital. Because I didn’t have them, my sugar got so high that I went into Diabetic ketoacidosis. I had to be rushed to the hospital and stayed for weeks.
