Mass Action for Medicaid! Pennsylvania
On Saturday, September 19th in Harrisburg, join with people from across the state who are ON or EXCLUDED from Medicaid to be visible, bold, and unapologetic in uniting for our healthcare rights. We will publicly expose the impact of Medicaid cuts, work requirements, and the ongoing attacks on healthcare and our right to live. We’ll announce our plans to make 2027 the year of MASS ACTION FOR MEDICAID.

Join us to break bread together then head to the Capitol Steps in Harrisburg for the “Hoops & Hurdles: the Medicaid Maze,” a game dramatizing what we go through in our fight for Medicaid! We’ll coordinate carpools from different regions of the state. This will be a powerful, interactive, and creative event.

September Saturday School of Struggle
Saturday, September 12 from 1 – 2:30 PM ET on Zoom – The September 2026 Saturday School of Struggle will be our prep rally for our National Day of Action for Medicaid on Saturday September 19th! Tonight, National NVMA Call: Our Songs and Chants
Thursday, August 27th from 7 – 8:30 PM ET on Zoom – Come learn the song we’ll all be singing at the National Day of Action for Medicaid on Saturday, September 19. Practice some of our chants and learn their origins in our movement. Though we’ll be in different places across the country, we’ll lift up our voices and echo each other to break through the media white out on poverty, healthcare and housing and grow our movement!

Register 📝 14th Annual Membership Assembly
The Put People First! PA (PPF-PA) Membership Assembly is our largest yearly gathering, open to brand new folks and experienced members. Join us from Friday, October 23rd to Sunday, October 25th, 2026 at a hotel and conference center in Philadelphia, PA. We’re coming together from across the state, the country and internationally to build community and celebrate the year.

Regional Healthcare Rights Committee Meetings
Put People First! PA is organized into five regions: Southeast, Southwest, Central-Appalachia, South Central and Northeast. In each of these regions, members participate in twice a month meetings held by phone and online, organized around our healthcare struggles. If you’re new to Put People First!
