  1. Please write down who you talked to and the results of the call. We’ll follow up with you to find out how it went.

In case nobody answers the phone, be prepared to leave a message*.

Call Script:

My name is [your name] and I’m a constituent of [their name]. I live at [your address].

I’m calling today to express my support of SB 860 which would restore the Adult Dental Benefit in Medicaid.

Share a brief story:

Dental care is so important to me because…

I’ve seen friends and family members struggle to get the care they need…

[EXAMPLE: I lost my smile when (I or a friend) broke a tooth that could have been saved a few years back with a root canal and a cap, but Medicaid would only pay for an extraction. This has hurt (me or my friend) a lot.]

Or

“I’ve met many people on Medicaid and have had teeth that could have been saved but had to have them pulled instead. In light of the huge proposed tax brakes for data centers, not reinstating the adult dental benefit to Medicaid is shameful.”]

We need our teeth. Pass SB 860.
