Restoring the Adult Dental Benefit to Medicaid would cost about $19.8 million.

Every third Wednesday of the month from 7-8 pm ET, Put People First! PA, a statewide, member-led, staff-free organization holds our Statewide Membership Call. This call is for active members, mobilizers, and anyone who is interested in finding out more about our Healthcare is a Human Right campaign and getting involved!

PPF-PA Organizes for Massive Free Dental Clinic
On Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30, Put People First! PA helped people get the care they need at a massive free dental clinic in Allentown. Though we are not associated with the clinic, we spread the word about it and then over 15 members organized to help transport people who need rides and connect with people both day of and beforehand.
Both days there was already a line of hundreds of people extending from the doors of the Agriplex by 5 am. We walked up and down the line with water, fruit and chairs for people who couldn’t stand for extended periods of time.
We heard countless stories about the conditions people are facing without access to dental care, like Mary’s story or Dawn’s story. We brought these stories and many more to our legislators at #CrowdtheCapitol to demand the Senate pass SB 860 to restore the Adult Dental Benefit to Medicaid, so that people can have their dental needs met! #WeNeedOurTeeth #DentalCareisaHumanRight
